Use of the Mark

  1. 01Only active holders display it.The mark belongs on the work of people and operator houses with an active row on this registry, nowhere else.
  2. 02Every badge links here.Wherever the mark appears online, it links to its own registry entry. Anyone can click it and check. A badge that does not resolve here is not a certification.
  3. 03Used as issued. The mark is displayed in the form it was issued: no recoloring, no edits, no crops, with clear space around it at least the width of its outer ring.
  4. 04Revocation is same-day and public.A revoked certificate loses the mark the day it is revoked. The row stays on this page, marked revoked, so the record keeps its history.
  5. 05It certifies discipline, not products. The mark says the holder runs AI operations under the TAO standard and passed on a live system. It is not an endorsement of any software.

Earning It

Practitioners pass a practical on a live system, against the published standard. Operator houses run the discipline under audit, measured on real installs against each client’s own baseline. Certification renews annually and can be revoked between renewals. The first cohorts are in progress; to be considered for the next one, write to the address on the standard’s page or subscribe to Now Possible, where each cohort is announced.
